During this workshop we chose a topic related to someone or something that is absent. We located evidence of people or things that have been omitted, overlooked or removed, and translated that content into visual form.
I explored memory and how it could be visualized. Remembering how we used to take notes during our time in school, a time of pens, pencils, erasers and papers, I played around with the action of taking notes and erasing as representation of how memory is understood, recorded, encoded, or transformed.
