Masuk Angin

Packaging translations excercise

Masuk Angin is basically a folknatural illness unique to Indonesia when you have: a Cold, Chills, Headaches, Queesiness, Gassy Stomach, a Runny Nose, Dizzy, Nauseous, or Vomiting.

This project aims to translate other similar concepts of a similar set of symptoms from different countries into one unifying language (Indonesian and Packaging). This adds new perspectives and enriches the meaning to “Masuk Angin”.

This can also be a challenge to western medicine of its sole status as medicinal standard, to prove that there is something to consider in pseudo-sciences or traditional medications.

The project turned out quite well and a resulted in a colorful set of packagings, each representing different underlying philosophies of the illnesses.
